Finally…. Yesterday evening apple has approved version 2 of our yellow.lu iphone app! You can download it from the appstore.
Version 2 provides the following new and enhanced features :
- Quick startup
- Enhanced proximity search
- Filter possibility (All – Professionals – Privates
- See the whole results geolocated on a map
- History of recent searches
- Interactive functions : place a call, send email, visit website, consult opening hours, add to contacts, route planner
- Emergency drugstores and hospitals
- myYellow (myLinks): Access and add your favorite links synchronized with your myYellow.lu account
- myYellow (myContacts): Access and manage your contacts synchronized with your myYellow.lu account
- Traffic cams

Yellow.lu by (CLA Compagnie Luxembourgeoise d’Annuaires SA) for your iphone. Browse the online directory of white and yellow pages in Luxembourg. First version of this app has been developped by Tom Weber and was a great success since the beginning. Since apple has released version 3 of the iphone firmware, our app showed up some problems due to compatibility issues with firmware 3.0. Since this, users were unable to add resulting entries to theyr contacts. More over we had some serious problems regarding the proximity search as the results wasn’t as good as we expected them to be. So we have decide to release a second version of it completely reviewed, bug fixed and with a lot of improvements.
